@all Sad to report that this update is CAUSING problems :( on my Sam440 (original). Not only do my Workbench window (default white) backdrops now have the graphical corruption previously reported on the Sam440 Flex (except my corruption lines are red), but sometimes the screen is going a patterned greeny-grey colour (looks a bit like a copper effect turned 90 degrees) requiring a hard reset

| @ChrisH I was seeing the same graphics corruption on my 666MHz sam440ep but re-enabling compositing seems to have got rid of the issue for now but only further testing will tell for sure.
@IamSONIC
Thanks I will go download the new version of warpview and see if that helps _________________ Sam440ep 667mhz, 512MB, 120GB 2.5" HD, OS4.1FE WinUae 3.0.0, OS 3.9, BB3, Catweasel MkIV Amiga 1200, Blizzard 040/40 (BlizzardPPC 060/200 with SCSI removed at present), mediatorSX pci, Voodoo3, PCI network card os 3.9BB2 4MB Minimig with ARM addon boar

| Ok. Now I can shut this laptop and boot AmigaOne (4,1) for a while and install the newest OWB. Lets see if it is possible to do some work over the net now.
Thanks for the update, if nothing is heard from me, it works!
Have a nice midsummers day.

| Kudos to the Hyperion team you guys rock!
This is an example of the superior Amiga "way": Updates improve stability and make the system more responsive.
I love boasting to WinXX users how OS 4 has become faster, more stable, and added features with each beta and update!

Very welcome update, cheers. Was not happy with the green warp3d thing, reminds me of the old Amstrad machines. Not good for an ex CBM64 user.

Never had the problem with Sam EP, is this a Flex issue?

Never had a problem with either version and warp3d. Is this maybe a datatypes problem? _________________ If your nose runs and your feet smell, you're upside down.

| @Rogue Can you please describe more deeply (from the programmer/coder side) changes of Warp3d ? I.e. what exactly was done, and what also was fixed ? Becouse looks like, not only sam-green bug was fixed, but somethink like "freetexobj" which was buggy on peg2 in some situations looks like fixed too (but i am not sure on 100% at moment). If you can, tell a bit more about.
As i can see changes are huge. Becouse previus versions of warp3d drivers was: w3d_r200.library - 182.364 w3d_radeon.library - 316.436
The new one: w3d_r200.library - 240.328 w3d_radeon.library - 371.272
For sure changes are more interesting than only "grey-fix" on sam ? Last edited by kas1e on 21-Jun-2009 at 05:42 PM.

Installed WarpView V1.05.
Results: a) a new screen is setup b) the screen remains black with near the bottom a white line appearing fading in a checkered bottom line, which fades out again and then remains black.
NetSurf does the same by the way and IIRC some other program also.

| This update caused some nasty graphical glitches on my sam 533mhz. I see a bunch of vertical lines if i for example open a folder window. This has never happened before installing this update. |
