When you start sending file, do you help browser with proper HTTP headers? You could send something like this:

Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="OS4.1.2.iso"' # that will tell browser to not try display item inline
Content-Length: NUMBER_OF_BYTES # this header would let browser to know how big the file is, it helps to determine if EOF was approached.

On the plus side, thanks for the update, always glad to see improvements to OS4! And it seems you did listen to criticism about Update 1, because Update 2 includes a short guide on installation.

I think we can guess they fixed the nasty INTERRUPT(S) tooltype bug introduced in Update 1. And given there were some complaints about how WBStartup Prefs & ASL Requester did (not) work, I guess maybe changes there.

I use IBrowse 99.99% of the time and OWB 0.01% for the rare sites I really can't access otherwise.

The corruption on the update archive is from the script on the webserver inserting a warning text in the download stream but the archive is still useable, it's just a matter of using Lha instead of UnArc.

Yes, 'Set foo ""' or 'SetEnv bar ""' should work now.

However 'GetEnv bar' sets $RC to 5 and I'm not sure it should, as 'Get foo' doesn't, and ENV:bar might be empty but it's there.

Likewise, 'Echo "$foo $bar prints " $bar" so GetVar() might need a closer look.

As late a today I noticed corruption of an USB stick I have used in my A1-XE. Windows refused to read it. Had to run chkdsk /F on it which fixed a number of cross-linked files and corrupted long-name directory entries. Is it really that hard to manage FAT32..?!?
