I love it all apart from.

NOTEPAD!!!

Notepad????

Couldn't we have stuck to EditPad?

Or if a new one is required, AmiText?

TextPad?

EdPad?

But please not NotePad

Hi mattk,

Thank you, but it is really Massimo that people should be thanking. His coding skills are what enabled all this.

Obviously... and he is also from my little lovely Italy !

Whats wrong with Notepad? WB 1.x came with a little text editor called notepad, so really its just continuing an Amiga tradition that disappeared with WB 2

Me muy gusta!

I particularly like the Colonization one, shame it won't work on the A1 version. Still, I'm not going to stop hoping for an AGA emulator to emerge at some point.

Very nice work! And a good choice of applications to show off in the screenshots.

@MaSC

Here is the quote from the OS4 features list:

Quote:
Mount Rainier support: With a Mount Rainier (CD-MRW) capable CD-RW drive you can use CD-RWs discs as if they were large floppies. One can copy files to a CD-RW with the Workbench/Shell, delete them again etc. (See: http://www.mt-rainier.org)

You can read it on this page (click link and scroll down to the bottom where is says "CD/DVD Filesystem"

@Kay

Hmm, I seem to recall that Colonization ran just fine on RTG.

i'll have to agree with you there, And looking at the screenshot, it's quite apparant that it's not running on an AGA screen.

Anyone?

Hmmm.... Looking at the icons for browsing within AmiPDF, those look nice. Wonder if that is an indication of what system icons may look like? Or is that just for AmiPDF.

Alpha channeling or 24 bit icons are not possible as the there are no changes for the icon library.

BTW I'm just back from the Amiga on Tour show in Augsburg. See my new signature...

Maybe some Hyperion person will catch my question this time.

I asked in the previous screenshots thread whether or not we will still need to "Close all windows except drawers" when we change screen resolution?
