This a initial release of a proof of concept / prototype of a new paint package for AmigaOS 4 called SketchBlock.

The prototypes supports layered images with variable opacity, and supports graphics tablets.


REQUIREMENTS

AmigaOS4.1 Update 4
AISS 4.12

INSTALLATION

Unpack archive.

USAGE

Run from shell

SOURCE

Source code is provided for reference purposes only. The project is *not* open source. You may read the source code and use it to inform or inspire your own project, but you may not build or release a binary version of SketchBlock, modified or otherwise.

The right not to include source code in future releases is reserved.

There is one more from Leon on ppa.pl: check it. Its show one more window (which spawn when you add new layer)

Should to say that after plaing with it for few hours : its very nice for first release. Of course a bit too simply in terms of tools (like no flood-fill, rectagles and all the handy stuff), but just one "layer" feature already make that programm (even if it very early beta-alpha stage) usable and helpfull.

I do not know if it will helpfull of course, and you for sure already know it, but just in case: you also can check sources of that new 32bit iconeditor, which of course have some weaks here and here, but it have some tools like: + - , few versions of draw lines, rectangles, elipses and unlimited undo/redo, which will be good to have in scetchblock too (imho of course).

Using my UCLogictablet driver (on os4depot)



Compatable Tablets (possibly)
