In case you want to take a second look, an update for the demo version has just become available. The update adds more ready-made network interface configuration files, corrects a few mistakes in the documentation and addresses on big problem: the installer script used to add a line to S:User-Startup which prevented the network from starting after a system reboot.

The updated demo version adds the correct instructions to S:User-Startup, but if you already installed the demo version (or even if you already uninstalled it) you may have to correct the specific line to be on the safe side.

The old, incorrect line reads IF EXIST S:Network-Startup, and it should read IF EXISTS S:Network-Startup (note the 'S' added to 'EXIST').

As far as I can remember, the orginal 68k Amitcp worked on Morphos on my Pegasos 2 in around 2005-2006, or around the time when Sonic did the Mosnet stack as a bounty, as morphos didnt have its own stack then. I remember switching between Miami 3.2, Mosnet, Amitcp and maybe Genesis to benchmark speed, Mosnet I belive was based on 68k Amitcp too..

Unless there is some unusual way this apple ethernet sungem_eth.device driver speaks to the hardware, I would say it should have work without much unusual hassle, you set ip adress, gateway, network mask and dns server and doing this in text files are easy peasy. Maybe an Morphos developer who knows the sungem_eth.device could test and comment, as I would like to support and buy Roadshow very much for my Powerbook and Macmini's
