Those games icons are from this icon set. Most other icons I used are from KDE-Look.org. |

Yep, 32-bit png files are rendered to your desktop using the alpha channel to control the transparency.
It also affects the 3.5/3.9 colour icons, showing them in full colour, no pens are locked from the display. The default icons for hidden files can be made transparent too.
Its a cool patch. If Elena can get the normal amiga 'alternate' image in there too it would be even better! _________________ Doing stupid things for fun...

Not in this form. OS 4's libraries use multiple jump tables. The 68k jump table only branches to the PPC one, and all PPC programs use the PPC jump table, so that patches to the 68k jump table go unnoticed by all but 68k programs. |
Thanks for the detailed reply. It would be real nice if this could be accomplished. That would make a nice addition to the contributions drawer. |

| HELP!!! I am new here. I have not used an Amiga in over 10years. I recently heard about 4.0 and decided to give 3.9 a try using WinUAE. I just got it working about 2 hours ago!! Looks nice!! I downloaded this program, the first one I tried, and was able to run the file and view the PNG icons but I do not know how to install it into the system. Can someone please help me wih this?? Also how to I update the icons once I do get it installed? Thanks to anyone who helps. Can't wait to see 4.0. Might just have to buy one.

Just rename ".png" files into ".info" files and the images will turn into icons. |

When you rename a .png to a .info file you will find the .info end disappears. You might find ClassAction useful for renaming the icons, it's a file manager like Windows Explorer or DOpus, and shows the .info files in its listers which is useful.
ClassAction download: http://www.aminet.net/util/wb/classaction.lha
readme: http://www.aminet.net/util/wb/classaction.readme
Edit forgot to mention MultiRen http://www.aminet.net/aminet.cgi?string=multiren - this is great for renaming batches of .png to .info |

| I honestly don't know which set I think looks nicer! I like that "calssic" look such as the Pirates icon, but I also like the other icon in the newer style with the bald headed guy, looks like Hitman on the PeeCee. _________________
