When I did read the sources were available, I thougth it could help me with a small project (I need a simple terminal that can display text on a background picture with vertical scrolling coming from a serial line), but I did not immediately download the sources. Using serial input is something that the current MediaPoint does not support, I think. Now my question: would the sources help for this, and if yes, would you make an exception for one (of the few?) buyers of both MediaPoint versions with your latest decision? |

| @Flinx We can do that. However, using mediapoint for this and altering the source for this purpose would take quite some time. Maybe it would be an idea to use Hollywood?
PM me for the source if you still want it |

Hmm. What was the name of the STB that AInc screwed themselves out of running OS4, that may use AROS? (just a guess) |

I think you are right, it may be possible to use Hollywood. I can write the text lines from the serial port into separate files and should be able to import these into Hollywood using its ReadLine() function. This may be not so complicated than inserting serial input into a large project. Thank you very much for your offer, anyway.
