I've got it all set up and the all seems to be working fine apart from I cant watch or download any videos.

I always get an Error message saying "url not validated!!"

which kind of videos are you trying to watch?
Because the message "url not validated!!" it's from
the youtube database and it's by example for sex videos

It wont start mine! I get a warning window that the paths are not set, and then it just exits

this it's strange, when the paths are not set after the
warning window you must be put on the configuration one.

You can try to set them manually, in the env Tubexx directory
you must create the follow files:

TOOL_GREP "grep" path
TOOL_HTTPRESUME "httpresume" path
TOOL_MENCODER "ffmpeg" path
TOOL_MPLAYER "mplayer" path
TOOL_WGET "wget" path
TOOL_XSLTPROC "xsltproc" path

note that the path must be complete with the name of the tool
for example my TOOL_GREP file contains:
SDK:Local/C/grep

be shure that the files doesnt contains Line Feed at the end,
I tryied with NotePad and worked well

Ok, I`ve set them manually, and after launching tha app, a few others were created :

I had it all set up & working, but for the last 2 days all I get is a "url not validated" error message & this on videos that I've watched before. Was there a youtube web site change?

Non so che cos`e` andato storto!

I`ve read all the above postings, and still no solution...
The only culprits:
-rexxsupport.library (I got 34.9 , is there a better one or a PPC compiled?)
-xsltproc , DLed from the above links
-TheBar .. I used the latest version with AmiUpdate

Am I missing something?
From the very first moment, I couldn`t see a GUI , just en error message poped, notifing me that the envs were not set. After setting them manualy (with the correct paths), there`s no GUI or any sign that the app is running

i can't get any youtube videos worrkig anymore. (through Tubexx and from IB)

Probably something is changed :-/ (on both AmigaOS4 and MOS)

same here ... it "seems" a wget related problem .. even the layout of the youtube homepage has changed.

I was merely wanting to watch some of the OS4 and MOS 2.0 videos on Youtube.

There a new version for non OS4 user on the Tubexx website, looking at the history
we can read;

26.01.08
- Added UTF-8 (Unicode codepage) support. (Requires rmh.library v23.3+ and codesets.library v6.5+)
- Today the URL schemes for FLV files have been modified by YouTube: Tubexx now works again!

Just waiting for the OS4 version...
