| It is obvious by now that the admins here don't know what they're doing.

| Did anyone question Mr. Dickinson at all ??
Perhaps the lack of news from A-Eon lead him to hack his own account, so his company could enter the headlines again!
Sorry Trevor couldn't help it

you're pathetic. i realize calling people 'names' is against the TOS of this site, and certainly not in keeping with civilized manners in any case, but i hope the moderators will grant me some slack this one time.
seriously, what kind of deranged human being thinks grabbing passwords is either impressive or useful?!

I believe the fraud posts should not be posted again since it was false info. No reason to drum it up again and it get posted elsewhere out of context.
Let the owners of this and other sites affected only keep it if they need it to track down who hacked Trevor's account.
But leave trash where it belongs, in the sewer.

Not without a hefty dose of random salt first they shouldn't. Unsalted md5 hashes are weak enough to be found by google search.

| Since a few days ago, i was trying to login into the site. I forgot the password and asked for a new one. It came but i still couldn't log in. Tried again... no chance. And again... still no chance. Left it alone for one or two days then i came back trying (tonight) and i still couldn't log in. Then i read this and i thought my account/pass was one of the unfortunate ones.
Then i remembered the 'refer' thing in the browser configuration. Went to check if it was activated and... it wasn't. That's why i couldn't log in here. All this time i thought i had it activated and it wasn't. Stupid me.
Well, i changed the password that was sent to me a few minutes ago and let's see if it holds, at least for now. _________________ "Would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom?!?" Which other sites? Just now I don't want to go hunting in all the other Amiga sites I have visited, one by one.

actually i think cheesegrate was just trying to be humorous, specifically alluding the famous simpsons episode in which homer goes into space, tries to clean up the mess left by opening a bag of potato chips, crashes into an ant colony, and the live stream back to earth is misinterpreted by kent brockman as the beginning of horrible insectoid-alien invasion.

and i, for one, welcome our new insect overlords....
@cheesegrate
well done. a spot-on simpsons allusion is something we can all enjoy.

| There is no hacker, AEON is no more. The story that the AEON quitting is a hoax, is in fact a hoax.
