posted by TrevorDick on 23-Oct-2013 21:55:57 (9043 reads)
Here is your chance to help select the names for the new AmigaONE models based on the Cyrus Plus motherboard and Freescale QorIQ CPU combinations. As a result of direct feedback we are listing the 12 most popular naming groups that have been suggested.

Your chance to name the babies?

If you would like to help shape the AmigaONE’s future please select your first and second choices and email your vote to:

contact@a-eon.com with "Cyrus Plus" name in the subject line.

I agree with these naming conventions suggested by Deniil715 and Tpod (i.e. AmigaONE X1500, X2000, X2500 etc.)

Why? The full Amiga scene is already fractured and confusing enough. A-EON and the X1000 have brought some order to the fracturing. This is why introducing yet another split in the naming conventions would be a step backwards, IMO.

IMO, stay the course that you set with the X1000 naming convention. And build on it.
