Please note:

* You must have registered both Freespace and AmigaOS 4.0.
* This version only contains the software renderer.
* Make sure to read the README file, as it contains important information.

I did a fresh install, which curiously didn't crash at all. I subsequently copied over the files as the readme says, and have experienced no problems whatsoever.
All without a reboot btw

I hope the others solve their problems soon - it runs very well indeed...

I made a short movie of Freespace in OS4/Warp3D. It's about 3:30 long and 111mb mpeg / 14mb DivX. I didn't get the divx version to run with AMP2, don't know why.

There is really a difference when seeing it with 3D-hardware acceleration -- not in speed but in looks. Looks very nice.

@all

Is it only for me the cut scenes are extremely choppy and without sound? Can anyone else play them nicely (without relaying them to an external player like MooVid, I mean)?

Apparently the lib responsible for video playback is still 68k, just hang on and wait for some more updates

Same here (and I'm a beta tester] but it doesn't matter to me much, just want to get straight into the game anyway
