| Weren't they supposed to be releasing drivers for an mpeg card? I remember reading the news about it. |

New versions of many drivers will become available in the coming days.
The update will include new versions of Voodoo, FastEthernet, TV tuner
and Spider card drivers.
We are now busy at completing work on support for a PCI hardware
MPEG-2 decoder card. Apart from vision decoding, compressed sound is
also decoded by the hardware of this card!
The MPEG-2 decoder card requires simultaneous presence of a TV tuner
card with the SVHS input connector. The decoded video stream is sent
from the MPEG-2 decoder's card through the SVHS connector to the
TV tuner card input and it is viewed in the same way as television

| madgun:that announcement was just to blow of some steem! , and i doubt we will see the mpeg card support anytime soon.
there is hope ofcourse but i stopped waiting for new support (shark,mpeg etc)
because i know from earlier how dissapointed i get.
anyway the mpeg card support has been started and thats atleast a good thing but as we all know, shark was showed in 99, 2000 , 2001 (the actual card) and now we are in 2004 and still it aint even working.
new usb spider update comming on monday! , check it out :)

Don`t forget that they said in an interview that they were finishing a GeForce driver...
... and that never showed.
