To be honest I find it pretty stupid that you have to be a cam member to get a list of supported hardware.
I already own an A1 which was quite expensive but I'm not paying $50 for a 130 pages read a year. That is WAY to expensive for me.
Would be nice if you didn't have to pay to know what hardware was supported though.

You don't have to pay $50 to read the CAM, if you are an AmigaONE owner. Until OS4 is released every AmigaONE owner is an earlybird user and they get free access to the CAM.
Write an e-mail to Ray. Akey at amiga.com (you will find his e-mail address under "Corporate/Support/Developer Support Personnel" or so. I wont post it here) and tell him your AmigaONE serial number. Then he will give you further instructions.

The list of supported hardware is not confidential, it just happens that a soundcard support list for OS4 was released in this issue of CAM. The actual list of supported hardware will undoubtedly be available to anyone and everyone who wants it.
Are you running OS4 on your A1 at the moment? If so you should have access to all this information already. If not then you don't need it yet. I suppose if you're thinking of building an A1 ready for OS4 when it comes out then a list could be useful though. Here's the list of supported sound cards for all you non-CAM'ers.

Well, I wrote 3 or 4 times to different e-mail addresses to contact Ray. Don't give up and try again. Use Ray's e-mail address and not webmaster@amiga.com.

Well you can. That's how I can read the CAM. You have to be persistent with contacting Ray
though and expect a few weeks delay in either direction (that's what I had, anyway). Also a few
polite reminder-messages along the way might also come in handy.
