Nice... and i just noticed they changed the releasedate of Shark & Shark+ from Q2 2004 to Q3 2004....

shoe: If you have the DCE that clips onto two chips on mobo it won't work, i've tried. I bought the Eyetech SD/FF(think it's same as DCE) that only connects on one chip and then connects to the video-port . It was the last one Eyetech had in stock, so i guess i was lucky ;)

Does anyone use the Mediator 4000Di (the one that allows you to use it inside the cover of the A4000D?) What's it like?

/here's to me hoping that it hits 45 Degrees Celsius ALL OVER POLAND!!!!!!!

@Haymigga

*argh* that's too bad, I've got the 2-chip solution. Which of the two chips was the problem. Because I noticed that the second one only needs two wires. I could easily solder them straight to the mobo without using the big socket.

On the pictures it really looks like it will fit.

Thanks,

I don't remember which one was Alice. But I presume you mean the bottom one in the picture. In that case wouldn't it be possible to fit it if I skip the socket containing only two cables, and solder them directly on the motherboard? It looks like it would work anyway ...

A friend of mine has a FastATA so I could borrow it and try it out.
