Some time ago I found an interesting game, but AFAIK it's no SDL: Beats of Rage, a beat'em'up engine with a remake of the great old Mega Drive game Streets of Rage aka Bare Knuckle.

If someone can port mupen64, which the author says would be simple for any OS
which supports SDL, I can verify it works, tested successfully Xtreme-G XG2, Wipeout64, Gex64 Enter the Gecko,
Jet Force Gemini, MAHJONG Master, WaveRace64, Wetrix, Banjo Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing,
Bust-A-Move 3, Destruction Derby, and Virtual Pool 64...Xtreme-G is a real keeper...can believe
Amiga users would enjoy this emulator...in OS4 SuperBundle!

i tried to do Beats of Rage but i bumped into a few problems (was a while ago) and since then i have tried the ps2 and DC version of it and i must say...it looks better than it plays
