| Hi there,
This is good news! Looks like everyday I'm seeing something exciting happening in Amiga Scene! Yesterday "Remote Desktop" today "AmiMSN"
Is it compatible with OS4.0?
Thanks, good luck, and keep up the excellent work, Firbodi _________________ MicroA1 G3, 512MB RAM, DVD-RW; and A1-SE G3,512MB RAM, CD-RW & DVD-ROM Avatar: Perspolis, Capital of Achaemenid Empire 500 B.C.

| Works well, but I would prefer a stand alone GUI, better than jabber as it works just like Messenger 6.2 but is a little cumbersome without a GUI. Perhaps someone could write a front end for this and then I could use this all the time. _________________ Amiga A1200, 3.1 ROMs, Blizzard 1230 MKIV 64MB & FPU, 4GB DoM SSD, Workbench 3.1

Provided OS4 has AREXX or can fully use the 68K version of AREXX and the 3rd party rexxlibraries this application needs (all 68K) then there is no reason it shouldn't work on OS4. _________________ Test sig (new)

True. And it works. And damn quite well indeed! I hope someone adds a GUI to it... _________________ Philippe 'Elwood' Ferrucci Sam460 1.10 Ghz AmigaOS 4 betatester Amiga Translator Organisation

| I can´t get it to work, I probably need some new librarys but the main problem is that the readme-file says that you should put AmiMSN and AmiMSN-IM.rexx in any directoy of your choice. There are no such files in the archive that the link refers to. To only files present are AmiMSN.config and AmiMSN.rexx, except for the readme-files. Do you need the previous version to get it to work or what am I doing wrong? |

| I have uploaded a new file to the website.. AmiMSNHOWTORUN.txt for anyone who is confused on what to do..
Also FYI.. The .readme is constantly updated with new asterisks (*) added all the time.. The changes are not since 1.0rc5, they are since 0.6.
Thanks for all the compliments!
Feature requests will be accepted ;) |

| After a lots of messing around with different librarys I got it to work. Good stuff in deed but it really needs a GUI. |

| Hi guys ('n' gals too).. The challenge algorithm for MSNP11 has just been released, and i've made my own implementation (unfortunately it needs a couple of 3rd party programs because of 64bit integers but it's not slow, infact it's slower on a 2ghz PC running WinUAE with JIT mode on, than it is on a 68040/40 running SystemPatch).
Anyway.. Basically, the new protocol will allow me to add custom away messages in the future.
Just thought someone here might be interested in that news ... Not to mention I've got nothing else to do but post here at 5:00am in the morning after being up for 21 hours straight..
Ok i'm going to bed now. Last edited by MickJT on 15-Jan-2005 at 05:41 PM.
