Software News   Software News : New Puzzle game Released for OS4
posted by Toaks on 21-Mar-2005 22:54:59 (2176 reads)
TriMa'gic is a single player board game.
Goal is to remove gems with the same color from the board.

The input slot has four gems that can be placed into the four outer play slots.
A new gem is played by pressing SPACE, the input slot or when the time reaches zero.
You can click on the play slots to move the gems onto the playfield.
The playfield consists of three rings that can be turned clock- or counterclockwise
with left/right mousbutton. The center will turn all three rings.
The goal is to place 3 gems of one color in a row to remove them. The more rows
you remove, the faster a new gem is played. To reduce the gamespeed you can
fill a complete ring in a single color. The most points and speedreduction
you get for the outer ring.

Some bonus items will make your life harder when they appear in the center ;)

Sounds pretty cool, although a bit complicated to visualize...

Is it possible to see any larger screenshots, or is it just those small ones in the top-right of the linked page? (I couldn't find any more...)

(BTW - looks like this announcement has been overshadowed by all the other Amiga Inc/Garry Hare/Eyetech announcements - whoops! Bad timing! )

it seems its not 100% compatible as there is some sound issues.

other than that its an quite decent try.

regarding the time it was posted, well everything gets overshadowed by the topics atm so.....

Hello all
Did not notice that the news made it here ...

TriMa'gic requires both renderlib & guigfx.lib. Should work.
I dont have the OS4-emulator installed (dont know if it would work)
so I could not test it. The sound and graphic is handled by Hollywood,
cant fix a thing there
If possible you should have XEN/9 font installed or the highscore will
be out of bounds ...

For a bigger screenshot take the link to the small one
http://my.morphosi.net/thumbs/cmcont/download/MyGames/TriMagic/50000_TriMagic.png
and increase the number (50000) as much as you like
