| It would be nice though the online shopping address was accessible via Amiga browsers. Ibrowse won˙t get there, Aweb somewhat does after a bunch of secure connection rejections (didn˙t order yet under Aweb, better to boot Debian to do so I guess). |

You need to have AmiSSL v2 installed for IBrowse 2.3. Install it and reg.net will work. You can't expect to have an online shopping service without secure connection. |

| Has anyone tried latest versions in a CyberstormPPC ? I'm dead curious to know the results... Last edited by Jose on 23-Dec-2005 at 02:11 PM.

Yes, I did while did the testing for Stephen. I played a big (640x352) DivX video with subtitles directly from CD through the motherboard IDE. (Slowww...) It was around 5-7 FPS on 604/180+CVPPC, the synchrone was all right, it was good enough to watch. Probably with SCSI and DMA it would be a lot better. _________________ Álmos Rajnai

Divx gets suddenly terribly slow when the CPU can't keep up because you cannot skip decoding of frames (only the rendering) as opposed to MPEG where you can skip B frames. So with MPEG/DVD if the CPU power available is half of what is required, you can still play the movie at half of the original framerate, while with Divx if the CPU power is just a little bit less than what's needed, framerate will be 1/2 or 1/3 of the original. For classic users ACK's upcoming 400-466Mhz accelerators should do the trick Last edited by COBRA on 23-Dec-2005 at 04:31 PM. Last edited by COBRA on 23-Dec-2005 at 04:31 PM.
