    @spotUP

    BCC is the sending of 'Blind Copies' of e-mails out. VERY handy if you send, for example, news letters & you don't want all your members seeing the other members e-mail addresses.

    Excellent as always! Thank you guys!

    I've only been using SimpleMail since version .27 and the only problem I really have is with the address book. When you put information in the Notes section it doesn't save it. All the versions I've tried do the same thing and I have tried just unarchiving into RAM: and running it there to make sure my current addressbook xml file that was messed up. Anyone else have this problem?

    WALLA !

    Now if only we could convince Windows users to send their jokes to themselves and to use BCC for friends instead of forwarding 50-75 email addresses contained within the body of their forwarded emails. With each forward the list of email addresses gets longer [sigh]. A spammer's paradise I suppose.

    Excellent work, without doubt my favourite mailer. One niggle tho how about mails being marked as read when you click on them, is that possible

    Hoi Bernd !

    Got it finally via Atlanta, Georgia after a long wait. It's seems
    everyone in the world is at the SourceForge.net today. You're
    supposed to be at SuperBowl XL. I'll check it out later!

    Thanks for the update.

    BCC support, great!

    My favourite emailer gets even better.>

    -EDIT: I noticed the filters are different, and they were putting incoming emails in the wrong folders. I read the guide document, and it informed me of what I had done wrong. I had a filter scanning subjects for "[AmigaOS4]" for a mailing list.. but under the new rules, square brackets search for any occurence of those individual characters. I.e. searching for "[abc]" will detect if "a" "b" or "c" is contained in the string. Anyway, I removed those filters because I use the web for browsing those groups now, but I just thought I'd tip you guys off if anyones having similar problems and dont know why!

    This is great!

    Excellent work!

    One of the coolest things is the simultaneous tri-platform release - this is the sort of thing Amiga needs right now!

    So where do you get the MUI stuff from to make this work?

    When I start it up it says "Could not create mui custom classes".

    I thought I had MUI installed, but with this message does that mean I missed something?

    Theres a list of required MUI Custom Classes in the "readme" file in simplemails directory. They have URL's to get them from too. If those links fail, try searching for them on aminet.

    @jahc
    Yes, I have the same problem. It is because of the new support for AmigaDOS pattern matching. They need to make this optional, or else it causes serious problems for any matches which contain []?!~*%| and so on. I am considering going back to v0.28, until they fix this.

    @all

    Thanks for your positive feedback. It's much appreciated.

    @AmigaHeretic

    Looks like there is some code missing for saving notes, please file a bug report.

    @sicky

    It's allready planed.

    @Luca67

    None that I know of. There are two scripts in the release which will be a good base to start doing it.

    @Severin

    Could you be a bit more specific and file a bug report?
    I can send mails without problems.

    @nzv58l

    Maybe SnoopDos will help find out the problem.
