Use DiskImage, you don't have to use the iso from a disc to install it

I just downloaded Update#4 and will be using FryingPan-Registered-V0.4b.
HowToISO in FP is easy:
1. Open a data/audio tracks and add it there; if file is read properly, it's
type should be set to ISO.
2. On the Write page, enable cooked data/audio tracks", disable "on-the-fly
images" and click Write.
3. You should get this great program!

There's no excuse for this, the makecd demo will work fine for burning the update iso, there is a copy of it on the initial pre-release CD or get it from http://makecd.core.de/

And the 9100, which I believe uses the same chip?
Phooey. I had the download going but had to leave to get to work. Here I sit unable to do anything with the update until late tonight.
But I assume my Radeon 9100 still won't work with the 3d support yet. The rest will be nice though. What I'm really anxious to see is if the Pagestream OS4 beta will now run on my A1. I'm one of the unlucky few who can't get it going at all.

I'm sold on FryingPan because of DVD support. I got an "AOpen 16xDVD±R/RW"
In less than a minute, OS4update4- 'install.iso' was on a FujiFilm Mini CD-R.

| Yeah, the DVD support is a godsend, but...it does have a lot of stability problems with OS4...at least on my setup...

This is because you need to set the softspites tooltype in the Radeon monitor information to yes! It will work then I assure you.

With Radeon9250 (see my "Radeon 9250 problem" topic), I got problems... 
I had to reinstall my old VooDoo3 3000 to can install it
I hope at installation ended my problems gone...

Same problem here. I have a Radeon 9200 full, too. This is the same behaviour Update3 had on first boot after install. Unfortunately, this time it happens already while booting the CD, so I can't access the tooltypes and modify them. I will try some other solutions.
