Leuven, Belgium - 21 March 2006

Hyperion Entertainment VOF announces that it has licensed its 3D driver technology for ATI Radeontm 9000 chipsets to Smiths Aerospace LLC (UK) . Hyperion's 3D driver technology is OpenGLtm ES compatible and was originally developed for Amigatm OS 4, Hyperion's multi-media centric, small foot-print embedded OS. Smiths Aerospace has adapted Hyperion's 3D drivers to comply with DO-178B standards and has incorporated a 2D version into its current display technology. Smiths Aerospace has the future capability to incorporate Hyperion's 3D driver technology for use in wide area displays intended for use in civil and military aircraft.

chAOS667: ok, sounded totally diffrent the way u said it before u explained it... it just sounded like ..well...that usual SDL is crap , give us something else.-. I for one knew up front that sdl had quite a few of freeware games and therefor a nice option while waiting for commercial games or whatever...but seeing the huge amount of SDL commercial games appearing last years..well i'd die to get them on AmigaOS4 ..

ps: i'd love to play T-Zer0 on my A1 too ..wouldnt matter if it was via E-Uae or whatever.-...aslong as it was smooth and so on :)

Congratulations Hyperion,
I hope you earn some money out of this and are able to keep producing your good work with AmigaOS.

Great.

And where is full OpenGL for OS 4 0 / OS 4.1

Great after Firefox
we just need OpenOffice, Java and Flash.

As well as some advanced and nice CD/DVD
burning in OS. And thats it folks!

Can we call it 4.2 and dream of SIMD new A1000 and PCI-E Radeons support?
And some nice optimized E-UAE ...?

I mean, there is a new hardware coming out,
we need new software to demonstrate it
