| Hey Dude,
A very nice job... Finally I also have midi on my Amiga! And what about playing a file list instead of load each time a new one? For loading would also appreciate if selection button is near "play" button.
Thanks again! _________________ RedOneX (SAM 460ex) and an A1 which now rests quite. Amiga OS 4.1.6 and CinemaWare games. Classic and NG softwares.

| Nice work, the attached output box makes things look a lot neater. I agree with unimon in that the file loading button should be on the same page as the play button. Now I have some bad news as it always crashes the ahi.device if I try to resize or move any of the windows or it seems do anything else during play back, does anyone else have this problem. |

| Hi all, first many thanks for the many replys, on the german amiga-news was only one reply ...
I'm very thankful for all your suggestions here. When I'm sitting to program, I try to make it as good as I can. But never I can know, what is the best for you all.
1. The file-selecting: I'll alter this. Maybe the "Files" tab is not neccessary. 2. Playing a list of files should be possible, because TiMidity supports a filelist internal. 3. Already finished - comes in the next version: playing from the shell-interface, to play without to open the GUI 4. The AHI-crash: Its a known issue: When TiMidity is playing and it is "disturbed" by activities of other tasks/processes a crash of AHI is very likely. At the moment I'm searching for the reason. I hope, this is fixed in the next version. I'll ask Martin Blom, the creator of AHI - maybe he knows the reason.
Up to this time, please handle TiMidity with care ... it is still in a beta-state.
I know I misuse you somewhat as betatesters, but so the program becomes the state the user (you) wish.
Kindly regards Alfred |

No problem, I am and sure all the others are happy to help betatest your programs, Microsoft have been doing this to millions of general public for years! Oh hang on, they claim that their product is complete though. |
