BITbyBIT Software Group LLC is happy to announce new easy payment options for purchasing the Advanced Visual Developer Suite for AmigaOS4(tm).

The new payment installment plans allow you to pick the purchase plan that is right for you. Select between 1, 4, 8, or 20 installments paying as little as US $10.00 a month and taking up to 19 months to complete your purchase.

All plans allow you access to the latest in-development releases of the AVD Suite as well as the opportunity to help shape the features of the software itself.

Not to mention supporting professional development on the AmigaOS4(tm) platform.

But the pay monthly thing does look useful.. I had to save for a couple of months before I could get mine.

As one of the people that already completed his FDSP program, and has access to the beta releases, I thought I should add that this is worth getting if you're a developer.

The GUI builder differs from other RAD design tools in that you see the generated source-code (that uses his AVDTemplate). Also, the generated code uses OS API calls directly, there's no added abstraction layer (at least as far as I can tell). The result, you can learn GUI programming from the generated code plus the resulting code is small and fast (no extra abstraction layers to slow things down). Added to this, it's easy to use/change things. Rearranging the GUI is a piece of cake.

If that's not enough, the XML GUI files could be used to create applications with completely reconfigurable GUIs. That is, your application reads the XML file and generates the GUI from this file on startup. Not all apllications need this kind of feature, but for some it would be beneficial.

We really need tools like this so the more support Jamie Krueger gets, the better.

I look forward to seeing more updates.

Hans

Yes, I have mine also. I hope more people take advantage of this offer from a talented man with a great piece of software.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
