One thing I forgot to mention is that the old MSN plugin won't work with this version. So if you use Epistula for MSN, keep the old version for at least another week until I compile MSN for this new version.

Another bit of information before I nick off to bed... if you downloaded the TOC plugin before 12:10am BST please download it again as I'd accidently stripped the plugin which rendered it useless! Oops.

Sometimes there are softwares that I don't know anything about and I see an updatey news item and don't know what is being updated. What if we made it a sort of tradition that all update notices have a line somewhere reminding us what the software being updated does.

anyone to know, how to use the TOC plugin for ICQ? Seems the docs only state AIM. And the pluginprefs look like they where AIM-only?

There are server settings in the docs (only checked the pdf file). I then used my number, password and alias as usual in that order in the plugin settings.

You should only use the server and port as supplied with the TOC plugin, don't use any ICQ network etc.

This isn't an ICQ plugin, or an AIM plugin; it's simply a TOC plugin which will accept your AIM and ICQ accounts and password via the TOC protocol.

For clarification, use the following server: aimexpress.oscar.aol.com and port 5190 to connect to TOC.

Either supply the plugin with your AIM account, or your ICQ account.

Don't forget to donate if you can. I've yet use any of Slash's software but seeing the button made me remember that there was a small amount sitting in my paypal account doing nothing. Now it's sat in Slash's account waiting for him to decide what to do with it instead.
