Depending upon your preferences perhaps a Thai husband will substitute.

| Does this mean it has a support for Unicode or is it explicitly for Thai only? |

| There is no support for Unicode.
Thai TIS-620 coding can arguably be described as a "version" of ASCII, hence it is possible to make a text editor that doesn't need to support Unicode but can support Thai.
The Thai letters fit in the "top" half, i.e. normal 7 bit ASCII plus Thai.
However, supporting Unicode is more than just allowing for multibyte characters. You need to take into account the specific features of the language you are supporting. So in this case, you could regard this as a small step towards Unicode support.
