Ok so this is the first i decided to put allkeys in my wbstartup drawer ;)
Before i had it only installed but didnt use it.

Seems Deniil spelled wrong on the icon information.
DoNoWait should be DoNotWait ;)

As i also have a logitec mx i used his nice allkeys.prefs.
Changed the settings to use my system/drawers for the programs i use.
Also changed the AmigaAmp to use Aminetradio. Started it up with the
media key and used the play button. Stop button worked also ;)
I will try to make the shift play button to do pause later.
Other keys for ibrowse etc works nice.

Only thing i would net help with is the yam/wookie (email/messanger)
buttons. They are nice when the programs are loaded but if not then
text complain comes up. Would be nice that the key would bring up
yam/wookie if not loaded first.

Last words. A nice and usefull tool ;)

You probably need an ARexx script that checks whether the ARexx port exists, and launching the program if it doesn't.

Nice update.

One question though, Is the only update to Allkeys, that it got a Gui? or does it recognize more keys?.. i ask because i have used it with a logitech S510 with a media remote, and it did'nt detect all the buttons on the remote. would be nice to have use of all the buttons, so the remote can be used for a media front end. (htpc)

Take the line that gets executed and put it in an arexx script and execute the script instead. The extend the script with something like:
IF ~show(YAM,P) THEN DO
starta YAM.....
END
ELSE DO
resten av scriptet...
END

Pretty much, yes. But it also has a raw mode in the learning with which you can see if any other useful codes comes out when trying your remote.

Thanks for the update of AllKeys, even though I've been using the beta for months and had forgotten it hadn't been released!

For info (the ongoing saga of the five keys that don't work):
I can now get 0xFF upstrokes in the learn window, if I hold them down for a few seconds after pressing a different key.

I've just had a quick play with allkeys gui, excellent work :)

I think I've found a way to get it to work with my keyboard without sending double commands all the time (if you remember it's a logitech DiNovo that is being detected as sending two upstrokes instead of a down and up)

Using the raw feature, I noticed that the downstroke of multimedia keys always has a subclass of 2 and the upstroke a subclass of 3. now all I need is a way to specify the subclass in the GUI :)

Really a great program, the gui is really helping some of my friends that did not have the patience to do the config by hand
However I'm currently unable to enter anything in the 'COMMAND' column : I always get a "invalid parameter" message and my input is cleared Am i doing something wrong ?

Oops! Must have been drunk or something when I wrote that code. Insanely stupid

Ok, so now your option is to edit the file ENVARC:Allkeys.prefs by hand and add
COMMAND YOUR:command/to/be executed
at the end of the lines for which you want a command to be executed. Read the guide if something is unclear.

I've fixed the bug but will add another feature - subclasses - before the next release.
