It looks like it's using RGBA instead of ARGB for the colors.
At least here on a 32bit WB instead of the rainbow gradient pictured in the screenshot, I get:

i've never tried to fix anything like that before. heheh now that you say it, it makes perfect sense as to why the palette looks like it does.
