Software News   Software News : MurksIDE 0.1 (first public beta)
   posted by Heinz on 19-Nov-2006 0:06:03 (2207 reads)
Murks! is an Integrated Development Environment for AROS.

Murks uses the same Project File Format that AmiDevCpp uses, so Data exchange is possible.

To use Murks, you need the Aros native gcc installed on your System.
Windows users can try Murks! using the latest WinAros Version which contains
the native gcc.

Is this posted under the wrong news subject? What has AROS got to do with AmigaOne?

Translation of the german word "Murks":

Murks = botch
Murks = botch-up
Murks machen = to botch s.th., to bungle s.th., to make a pig's ear of s.th.
Murks machen = to make a balls-up/cock-up
Murks machen = to make a mess of s.th.

I dont think there is a need for another IDE on this systems.
There already is CUBIC/GoldEd and StormC
wich both has a lot more features than MurksIDE actually has.

But when the program is fininished from my point of view,
I will open source it, so someone can port it to those platforms...
