   posted by tomazkid on 27-Apr-2007 13:01:17 (6244 reads)
Now is the time to announce the winners in AWompetition!
It turned out that we didn't have any aw.net mousemats to spare to the winner,
but we got something else instead

Insane Software will give the winner a special AWompetition edition of Amijeweled.

A big thank you to all of our other sponsors, without whom this would not have been possible. (in no particular order):

DiscreetFX , GGS-Data, Jan Zahurancik (AmiKit), Stephen Fellner (DVPlayer), Darren Eveland (RemoteDesktop), Tomasz Wiszkowski (FryingPan), Robert Williams (Total Amiga) and Andreas Magerl (Amiga Future).

And Thank You to all the participants in the competition for the nice feedback

@tomazkid and staff

Thank you for all your fine work on the competition.

Hmm...will each winner be giving an acceptance speech, like at the Academy Awards?

@the winners

All of you should now have received an e-mail regarding the prize.
If you haven't received one, give me a PM here.

I honestly don't know how I came number 2, as I sent my entry the same day as the competition was started, and thus rather rushed it!

Didn't many people enter?

@ChrisH

Rushed....perhaps, but good guesses still help

At the end of the day, it isn't so much how quickly you get your answers in, but how accurate they are. Even though there were a lot of bonus points available for Q20, it turned out that it wasn't the most deciding factor on final positions, accuracy in the first 19 (plus 19(b)) actually played a more important role.

I am pleased with the number of participants in the contest, though less than I expected.
I was hoping for more, but still, as long as everyone enjoyed themselves, it's ok, I know I had fun
