Software News   Software News : Small WiFi Signal Update
posted by Curty on 17-Jun-2007 21:36:38 (2444 reads)
Ive uploaded to both OS4 depot and Aminet a small update to my program WiFi Signal that give information showing the quality / strength of the signal for Prism2 wireless card users.
The archive now includes the much requested OS3.5+ version although its somewhat stripped due to OS4 dependencies.
Read the readme for changes.

Download from OS4depot.net
Download from Aminet

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for the 68k version. Does it work in WinUAE, somehow?

AFAIK, no it won't because it uses the Prism drivers. And the Prism drivers are for a WiFi card connected by the PCMCIA slot. Which WinUAE doesn't allow access to, even if you did have a suitable PCMCIA slot & card.

it´s the only thing that winuae needs to be perfect: direct PCI and PCMCIA accces for the emulated Amiga.I hope someday it will be included
