| Oh WOW! What an awesome technology but to be honest I am UNABLE to this very date right now since 3 years ago fill my 4 GB for my Amiga 1200. There is no way I be needing that much. By the way, the item arrived and I love it, thank you AmigaKit. |

| Heh. The first drive I put into an Amiga was 128MB. Never managed to fill it up. Even now, if it weren't for photos and videos, I probably wouldn't go past 1GB or so. _________________ Happiness is mandatory. MindSpace: MindMaps and UML diagrams for OS4

| I was reading this news item in retro mode. For a brief moment I was thinking, "but they dont even make hard drives that large!".. despite having 2x 250giggers in my own machine. Me dum. |

| I pioneered with large (127MB+) disks on Amiga I think. I bought a FastATA'99 and a 160GB disk a couple of years back and then there was no LBA-48 driver available. I beta-tested the new driver they made for me until it worked Took 3 versions until they got it right... _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

| I still have a 9.1GB UWSCSI and 2GB IDE drive in my 4000, and they still have plenty of room left. Still, I am sure these could be very useful if you wanted to replace an ageing harddrive, with the smallest ones being aroun 60-80GB these days, and costing more per GB than a cheap 250 or 320GB drive. _________________ Test sig (new)
