Software News   Software News : Lincity-ng ported to AmigaOS4
posted by afxgroup on 13-Nov-2007 23:42:25 (3482 reads)
Hi all,
during my normal compilations, I have ported Lincity-ng to AmigaOS4.
What is Lincit-ng:
LinCity-NG is a City Simulation Game. It is a polished and improved version of the classic LinCity game. Within the scope of the GoTM project we have created a new iso-3D graphics engine, with a completely redone and modern GUI.

Enjoy another Amigasoft game..

At moment is in queue:http://www.os4depot.net/download.php?file=queue/lincity.lha

This looks like a game that I could waste hours on. Maybe I shouldn't download it.

Also, am I the only one concerned about how close the rocket is to other buildings in this screenshot? Looks nice though.

Hans

you should be... whoever was the city planner is either short-sighted or lacks a proper understanding of thermal/kinetics laws...

Nice catch btw

I tried LinCity but can't get it working.
Is it supposed to work "out of the box" or there's something else I need to do?

Basically, after the initial Grim Reaper, I get a black screen with music palying in the background. My stack is at 1.000.000.

Help!!!! ;)

The version I downloaded complains about not finding a data file...
