| Brilliant.
There's only two things we need for this now. 1. A nice Icon (hint, hint, Mason & Ken). 2. LibFAAC ported to OS4. (for mp4v audio) _________________ Peter Swallow. A1XEG3-800 [IBM 750FX PowerPC], running OS4.1FE, using ac97 onboard sound.

I couldn't agree more. If we had LibAAC I could add built in support for video conversion to IPod's and PSP's. _________________ Kevin - X1000 First Contact / A1222+

I noticed there is an OS4 port of LibFAAD2 (aac decoder) on OS4Depot as Faad-Library, but not the LibFAAC library (aac Encoder). The sources are available Here but I am not a programmer so i can't take it any further. It might require Dream to be ported as well. (an Open source DRM receiver) _________________ Peter Swallow. Unfortuantly I don't currently have a setup or the knowledge to compiling LibFAAC or ffmpeg. Andrea gave me a newly compiled version of ffmpeg and ffmpegGUI v1.1 has been modified to support it but unfortunatly is also broke some of the previous encoding like the one used for cellphone audio. I think there may have also problems with some of the mpeg encoders if I remember correctly, so I'm not sure it's as simple as just linking in a new libFAAC or ogg library. I'd love to be proven wrong though?
Maybe Andrea can provide us some more insite? _________________ Kevin - X1000 First Contact / A1222+
