I have used Eudora for years now.
Gotta say, I love Yam. But the filtering should be a bit more comprehensive. I have now officially changed mailclient, Yam does it just fine.

I will wait how it shows me mails sent from Incredimail .. you know all these flashing crap, moving graphics, squeeking sounds plus all the other useless crap girls use in it :)

Tried it a bit in my winUAE setup. The folder management seems to be screwed up. Moving items around makes other folders move around in a random fashion. I have about 40 folders so it gets rather messy. And opening mails with large attachments (like everything from 100k to a few megs) takes forever. Just opening the text part can take several seconds. The old version (latest full release before this one) I used before had no such problems on the same setup.

Using an Athlon XP 1600+ and JIT activated. AOS 3.9.

I made a test. I sent roughly a 5mb email to myself, a couple hundred k's of text and a 4mb+ worth of attachments. After downloading and double clicking it, it took about 5 seconds here. So it's not THAT slow. I am using the MorphOS version though.

A 700Kb attachment takes 7-10 seconds here. Perhaps there is a "Don't decode attachments before asked for" checker somewhere.

Could be. Or PPC native Yam is just so much faster. Or UAE is crap.. who knows

YAM is a great piece of software. I hope it gets ported PPC natively for AmigaOS4, as soon as it's released.
