Toni has already said it will never be added by him. If someone wants to fork the project they can. |

| Excellent job - the P96 display code rewrite improves performance considerably.
WinUAE keeps on getting better and better - just when you think that there is little left to add or improve, Toni posts another monster update.
Incredible!

| Another excellent release thanks.
I have been using the betas with Amiga Forever 2008 for the last few weeks and its a nice improvement on the previous release series. _________________ Sam440ep 667mhz, 512MB, 120GB 2.5" HD, OS4.1FE WinUae 3.0.0, OS 3.9, BB3, Catweasel MkIV Amiga 1200, Blizzard 040/40 (BlizzardPPC 060/200 with SCSI removed at present), mediatorSX pci, Voodoo3, PCI network card os 3.9BB2 4MB Minimig with ARM addon boar

I think UAE is a bit of overkill for OS4 since it already has a fast 68020 and JIT emulation built in. What you might want to port to OS4 is something along the lines of TUDE. Why redo the work of the petunia guys just use the existing emulation. What most people don't realize you don't get faster speed emulating and 060. So unless your program calls for an 040 or offers better features your best bet is to emulate an 020 as it is the most complete CPU.

| I see your point. It's not the cpu speed, but the AGA problem I am referring too.
I have an OS 3.9 installation on my second HD, and it's a nightmare.
For example multimedia programs. Apps that are tied to the Amiga AGA chipset.
I have a TV out converter from Kong Computers, it works as a bypass so you still have your VGA monitor. It's like when you use the s-comp port on the a1200 at the same time as you are using scandoubler or GFX card, it clone the screens. I am thinking of finding a HD recorder with some kind of FTP server build in and with two inputs and outputs, then record from video camera to HD then move the file to Amiga, use some editing tools and then push play to record it back to the HD recorder.
But try to run scanner under e-uae emulation or just other programs really sucks, and cant be used to make realtime video. Anyway I wonder how the signal will be if you set at VGA to DVI converter to the amiga gfx card and the to a HDD recorder and then the recorder to a new HDTV. will the signal be messed up ?.
Anyway I hope a better e-uae will show up.

| This release is certainly a bit faster here.

| I'm not sure when it happened. But I noticed it during the last two releases. The sound is now working perfectly. You can't tell it from a real Amiga. Music-X works now. This is a major thing. _________________ X5000 / microA1(OS4.1 FE U2) / CodeBench / Imagine / Blender Lightwave 2019 / Microsoft Visual C++
