News   News : Nova Design upgrades Web Site / Lowers Prices!
   posted by Kermit on 28-Oct-2008 21:48:22 (2662 reads)
Some weeks back Nova Design's web site (www.novadesign.com) was hacked. Our then-host failed to detect or log the hack and lost our backups. So we decided to upgrade the site! About time too.

The new site is online with an all-new webstore and more. We have our demo reel embedded on the front page along with slideshows of our products. We're driving everything using AJAX and Flash so you better be using the latest/greatest browsing technology. Welcome Nova Design.com to the 21st Century eh?

Our slideshows directly access the all-new Cinematte and ImageFX Flickr groups so PLEASE upload your images and drop them into these groups and your masterpieces will be part of our corporate slideshow automatically. No ads and such tho, please.

Price reductions have been made permanent on ImageFX and Cinematte - so please feel free to shop with us as well!

Enjoy the new site.

W3C's HTML validator is anything but impressed by the new site:

Errors found while checking this document as XHTML 1.0 Strict! 460 Errors, 105 warning(s)

Kind of awkward.

I'd rather see an OS4 native version of ImageFX than a new site full of stuff I can't see on my Amiga. Maybe something is wrong with my IBrowse install?

Atleast it looks WAY better than the Algarian (or what where they?) job! Well, you'll need a modern browser (linux, apple, win) to view it but let us be honest, is there one single person on this forum who does not also own and use a linux, apple, win box?

I use only an AmigaOne at home. At work the draconian overlords (CSC) watch my every keystroke and deny access to Hyperion (for instance) and to all webmail accounts.

@gww:

Okay, you've corrected me . Thought I had managed for a looooong time before I even thought about letting a PC in. Used only a 68040 A4000T as my computer for all my computing needs (internet, gaming, write the occasional document, ... )up until the year 2000. From that moment on, it turned out to become near impossible to do on-line banking on it.

I own only one working computer and it's an Amiga. I'm not the only one either. If I ever decide to switch to another system, the µA1 will go into closet next to the broken A4000.
