| nice work! Unfortunately, it is impossible to enter composite accented characters. It works when the key sends the character directly (like, on my swiss keyboard, é à ö etc...) but it doesn't work when I have to press two keys, lime in â ò... |

| If there are problems on Sam Hardware, then it is probably because OS4 is using a Debug Kernel, and thus catching more errors than normal. Get debugging ;) . Oh and please please add ODT support (OpenOffice universal file format).

Make sure you assign to the default directory where cinnamon is unpacked.
There is another bug related to the minimal part of the SDL library Cinnamon uses. Des is investigating the problem. Cinnamon is going to be an excellent piece of software, release after release.

I have absolutely nothing against MorphOS. I just have no compatible hardware to develop on. People have reported that earlier versions of CW worked to some extent on MorphOs if they used the OS4emu thingy majingy.

| Dose Cinnamon Writer have a good spell checker?
The reason I ask is thats one of my main requirement from a word processor, and I cant seem to find a features list on the website.

I tested it quikcly. It misses characters when typing fast and that's severe problem. I tried to move a scroll bar on right hand side and it gave me many error messages and then finally crashed.

As I will be running it for my SAM440 anyway that gives you some more time to find and kill any bugs related to running CW on the SAM440

abiword has one plug-in spell cheker. works in shell too. or with arexx scripts.
the one abiword has allso works with dansih launge.
how hard will it be to implat or to get the file to work as a add-on |
