SabreMSN is a freeware MSN client for AmigaOS3.x/4.x.
Basic features include: - emoticons - "user is typing" notifications - nudges (they shake the window just like on Windows) - logging/log reloading - utf8 character conversion using codesets.library (read more)
- sound alerts - rudimentary file transfers (it uses the older protocol though, so newer clients wont work) - editable usernames - add/remove and rename users
This version introduces a tabbed-chat display!
Release notes:
- Added chat tabs, with the ability to close them from the pulldown menu Edit your icon tooltypes. TABS=TRUE, or TABS=FALSE - A "disconnected" window appears when you're disconnected now - Added a quit requester - Unread messages counter is shown in brackets in the tabs beside the persons name
Thanks Jahc. Your my hero. I found a problem. If i change in prefs UTF8 convert from us-ascii to iso-8859-15 and then save/use and restart sabre its still shows us-ascii in prefs.
Merry xmas jach and all
EDIT: Was thinking. When using tabs. Maybe it would be better to open a new chat window like usual and then when adding more chats it would open in the same chat window. So one for the nicks and one for the chats ? Would make the gui more fit :D Like its now its little fat :D
EDIT2: Another way would be the nickwindow to resize itself. When started it shows only nicks like before. If you start a chat it will resize to the left. And if you quit the chat it would be small again and show only the nicks. But i think the first idea would be easier for you... but who am i to know :D
