Nice - a browser that's updated every 14 days, great!

It would be nice (and speed development even more up), if other developers could help expand this great browser (features like download manager etc.).

@moderators:

Could you please modify news title to "Origyn Web Browser 3.15 for AmigaOS 4.x"?

Most of people think about AmigaOS 3.x when reading AmigaOS.

Hi,

I really admire the pace in which these new realeases are being made available to us. Thanks Joerg!

But starting with version 3.14 and still there in 3.15: I have this strange experience with this link. No text is shown at all, only empty buttons.

Anyone else having this same experience? All other sites are rendered correctly (as far as i have checked, however).

Works fine for me with OWB3.14. Now going to try with 3.15.

UPDATE: version 3.15 works fine as well.

@Crumb

I disagree.. A new software release for OS4 should say "for Amiga OS".. Because OS4
is actually the latest version of said OS.
If any software doesn't work for OS4 they should state "for Amiga OS 3.x" instead.
This is how it works for every other OS around so why not for Amiga OS?

Is it my imagination, or does this version start significantly quicker?

@ ChrisH

I would say not only does it load significantly faster, it loads web pages quicker and scrolls quicker and more smoothly.

@ Joerg

A very good update, cheers.

The fact that it's on OS4 Depot should tell everyone it's for OS4.x. Aminet will have the OS4 version & any new OS3 version release. There is no new OS3 version at this time.

Actually, that's still to be decided on court, as far as i remember... Not to mention, that whatever most nextgen people imagine, most of the users are still on classic (mostly because of emulation).

Not exactly. In fact i met mostly the opposite during Apple's PPC -> Intel switch and also nowadays with XP -> Vista change (ie. it's explicitly stated if it needs Vista).

Hence i agree with Crumb.

I didn't think there was any dispute regarding OS4 being the latest Amiga OS.
I thought the court case was to decide who owns it.
