@Hondo

You should have gotten one already. That's a 7 day posting restriction for you.

Haha, you're joking right? Perhaps you should stick to amiga.org or EAB, they have a stronger classic Amiga focus. Oh wait, you mean OS4? The OS that runs on PPC? How is that any more Amiga than AROS? Hint: it's not.

I'd suggest you to ask Hyperion, Amiga Inc or whoever else for them.

@BillE

While I don't want to promote other sites, but take a look at amigans.net, it being an OS4 site and all. Do you see a lot of OS4 news that isn't posted here? Do you see any Amiga OS news at all that isn't posted here? There isn't anything to report, simple as that. Complaining about it will not help at all.

Regards,
Joachim Birging

While that's your opinion, and you're entitled to have it, I'd tone down how you present it in your next post. Please!

@ amigadave

Doesn't seem like it lately, does it.

I am in a foul mood myself tonight. The world really dumped on me today, but I'll bite my lip and suck it up.

Thanks for the updates. At least something is happening.

Thanks Paolone for the update.

I read AROS got two new games ported too : Open Red Alert and Blockout 2.
That sounds cool, keep up the good work guys !

Many thanks for the update!

I wonder why some feel so hostile against this as a news item ?
Finaly a PC can be used for some fun and useful OS with a cool API thay we all love and enjoy native without emulation.

Salut to all involved!

Very nice, thanks!
I wish there was more native software for Aros.. All that 15 years old amiga software getting lost should be open sourced so that somebody could recompile it for Aros or OS4..

Or at least recompiled by its authors in AROS format...

Just updated my old Compaq Presario 1700 laptop hd and it behaves very well...
Nice update Paolo!

And yes, Mazze seems to be on a porting rampage and we're getting a lot of SDL/Open GL games recently - just check Wandering around AROS Blog.. Or better yet download IcAROS 1.1.5 and get those on AROS Archives!
