The Minimig has been upgraded with 2 additional MB of memory and the new "Release version YQ090421" firmware. The 4MB Minimig will be available to customers at Pianeta Amiga 2009 in Empoli (Italy).

Take a pick, and many great news for the Planeta Amiga 2009
Hope soon Mimimig with ARM controller built in would be avail.
Firmware, ARM and 4MB expands usability to WHDLoad, Hard and floppy
drives support, 68 000 28MHz speed support using FPGA - better than a lot expansions for A500/600/2000 ...
030-ECS and AGA modes-stronger FPGA to boost 030 would be great advance.
And just to remind, Freescale still makes even faster 68k compatibile chips.
Newer Minimg and Natami OS could be just OS 3.9 if legaly availiable,
with drivers. However, both are currently stuck without their unique OS,
with unadapted AROS and maybe usable expansions like AmigaSYS.

| However Minimig slowly overgrowns "Amiga 500 recreation":
- Using expansions and FPGA to boost speed
- Programable core, VIC emulation availiable, more computers mighr follow
- Posibility to use memory card(s) for ADFs and files
