@spotUP

We don't spam. If you enter the contest and request to only get an e-mail if you win. That would be the only e-mail you ever get from us. I hate spam too.

@DiscreetFX :
Thank you for this competition.
It's so rare to see a company doing this kind of offer.

Anybody else experiencing problems contacting them via OWB, Aweb, Ibrowse browsers?

I initially thought OWB would have done it easily and fine, but then I even reverted to older browsers just to double check.

Cheers.

P.S. Going to linux now to use their contact page.

P.S.S. DiscreetFX, common man, you might hate spam, but chuck on an email address for Amiga people that may not have a functional web browser for that contact page of yours.

Cheers again.

Its probably better to move any discussion on that to the Free for All forum though if you wish to discuss the movie further.

@ Leo,

Wel, before this competition, effectivelythey already have my email, as I had to ask them a few questions earlier in the year regarding things Amiga related.

Anyway

They have not spammed me, only replied to any email I have sent them, but never emailed me directly otherwise.

So er, Leo was it? This isn't the windows world of Spam.

@Gebrochen

We checked this for you and it looks like you need flash for the contact link to work. You could also send an e-mail to sales AT discreetfx Dot com.

@tiffers

@klx300r

I wish, it will not happen in 2009 sadly. Quality software development takes time.

@tiffers:

I've already supported this initiative for quite a while and i even won it for two years already.

I've not received any kind of spam whatsoever from them and i quite like the initiative because it increases sales from the few software products we still have.

As it stands this year, they seem to have spent a whole lot of money on the prizes,and i will participate again this year.

One thing i might suggest is to have a symbolic amount of money as prize that the winner shall decide on to which bounty/project it goes.Other than that i'm fairly confident on the support DiscreetFX is giving to the amiga community with near to 0 amount in return.
