| I see it was inspired by Digita's Organiser - that was a great program, so this is surely worth a look. _________________ Author of the PortablE programming language. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue...

Is Google Calendar support something you're considering? You can download an xml, ics or html file which could be imported. _________________ Common sense - So rare it's almost like a super power

Well the xml could be processed with python / arexx and imported that way.
I think supporting it via a script is probably better, than in the app itself, as the net based services have a habbit of moving goalposts. _________________ BroadBlues On Blues BroadBlues On Amiga Walker Broad

| Well done, but for me it still lacks an address-book... I still use Digita-Organiser for the moment, but your project looks promising. Thank you ! |

| Most address books have a mini (or maxi) database server underpinning them. The only one I have on the Amiga is Twist, which is no longer supported and not a sensible basis for future development.
Is there another database server, ported or native Amiga, that we could use for such projects? I wonder if there is a mini-server doing duty in Workbench for some other purpose.
If there is something native Amiga with an AREX interface, we could do all sorts of simple DB-based programs and extensions to existing programs.
Of course, SQL would be nice

The problem with that is that with Google Calendars you need two way synchronisation for it to be really usefull, so you'd need to be able to post items as well.

From what I've seen Google Calendars are write protected anyway if you don't use the web interface. At least it used to be. _________________ Common sense - So rare it's almost like a super power
