| Wow! Thank you very much!
So, this is my reason for buying an Amiga X1000. I started long ago with doing 3D-Graphics on my Amiga 1200 (with Lightwave).
I still do some things on Lightwave on my Mac. But just for Fun.
Now, it will be possible to do some real great stuff again on th Amiga. This means more Fun. Reaaaaaaaaaaallllllllyyyyy coool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks a lot. _________________ Sometimes we give people a lot of credit just because they're writing nice sentences even if it isn't adding up to much.

| @Broadblues Thank you for your hardwork!
This is probably the main reason I bought a SamFlex, to be able to do some 3D on Amiga as I did as a Kid. Is like getting back to your beloved girlfriend after a long while ^_^ _________________ SamFlex Complete 800Mhz System + AmigaOS 4.1 Update 4 Amiga 2000 DKB 2MB ChipRam GVP G-Force040 Picasso 2 OS3.9 BB2 AmigaCD 32

| @DJ Nick
Didnt know he made it with Blender
For musicprograms you can forget VST/I but the most near is HD-REC. But i know you are a tracker guy so maybe you will not like it. Its complete with mixer, effects, plugins etc. Its opensource so anyone can join the development. There will be a new release for end users later on. Will also be more plugins etc later. |

| Indeed, Blender has reached production quality and even "Belender" jobs are starting to pop up!
One amazing thing are those shorts they released on DVD, as they contain the scenes from the movie in Blender format!(it would be like buying a Pixar movie and get all the models, materials ans scene set-ups!!!).
P.S. For music keep an eye for the AudioEvolution 5.1/5.2 back-port to Amiga OS, Davie Wentzler (the Author) said he will do it once the wxWidgets port will be finished.
Initially we will get a full version that only lacks multi-channel recording (as Amiga needs an updated sound API) but with the release of the X1000 I'm sure a new API will be in order. _________________ SamFlex Complete 800Mhz System + AmigaOS 4.1 Update 4 Amiga 2000 DKB 2MB ChipRam GVP G-Force040 Picasso 2 OS3.9 BB2 AmigaCD 32

| YEEHAW!
Thousands of thanks !!!
Amiga is back in 3D.
Perhaps I'll now be able to use my house design (.dxf) on Amiga ! Is autocad/.dxf import included in Amiga version?
btw. it seems to have HW acceleration. How fast it is on miniSAM? Last edited by KimmoK on 15-Jan-2010 at 10:09 AM. Last edited by KimmoK on 15-Jan-2010 at 10:09 AM.
