Just wondered if there is a list of the file formats the Amiga port allows for import.

I also noticed there is no mention of the Amiga port on the Blender website.

I haven't been able to update to OS4.1 Update 1 so can't test Blender at the moment.

Looking forward to giving it a go.

@ 1Mouse

I guess there is non-mention of Blender on the blender.org site unless it isn't merged with the official tree. The MorphOS version, which is out for several years now, isn't mentioned there as well.
btw.: nice that OS4 has Blender now, too. It's really a brilliant piece of software.

Wrong, here at end of the page since many years (but was on another wiki before 2009) : http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:Manual/Introduction/Installing_Blender/Other_OSs

google it: "blender morphos support"

A quick note to anyone running on a r100 based radeon (Radeon 7000 or 7500 for instance) if you can't see any button icons or anything in the render window, then start blender with the -G option

Also if you have low video ram blender may crash as it tries to exit cleanly (but fails due to an unitialised pointer (now fixed here)) try starting on it own 16bit screen

eg

bldyn -G -M

@Kimmok
Start enjoing this one, to put into perspective how useless is 2.5 in current state you should try this:go to you tube and look at the best productions done in Blender then consider that NONE of those are possible on 2.5 because a ton of features are missing (still not implemented in 2.5) and it crashes all the times too (they were all done in 2.4x).

We actually have the most updated usable version on Aos (compared to MOS).

Also as Broadblues stated in the past, this one is based on a source code snap-shot a lot closer to 2.49 than 2.48 (although it says 2.48).

@DAX

Sure, I did not mean that 2.5 would be any good for anything. But I was surpriced that someone afford financially work on Amigalike application SW. fulltime.

I could update my saying: Interesting that some people already afford to do fulltime application work on Amigalike machines AND on a futile project.

@KimmoK

It doesn't mean that at all. It rather means Blender team works full time on 2.50 and doesn't support older versions (2.46 or so in that case). As for MorphOS, Yomgui obviously only does that in his free time.
