Amigaworld.net News   Amigaworld.net News : There can be only one!
posted by tomazkid on 24-Jul-2010 10:11:14 (8510 reads)
As we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Amiga computer it is only fitting that after months of blood, sweat and tears we have reached the moment where we can finally reveal the Grand Prize winner of the AmigaWorld.net 25th Amiga Anniversary AWompetition. We have confused you , driven you mad and brought you to tears but at last the pain is over.

All of the valiant contestants have gradually been whittled down and now only 3 Amigans remain in the competition. But one person stands head and shoulders above all others and in the immortal words of “Highlander” – "There can be only one!"

Unbelievably, the winning contestant has incredibly managed to answer
99.9% of all the tricky questions and riddles posed by AmigaWorld team and is the deserved winner of the AWompetition Grand Prize: an AmigaOne X1000 computer donated by A-EON Technology & Trevor Dickinson

And therefore without further delay AmigaWorld.net is pleased to announce that in 25th Anniversary year of the Amiga birth……

(Drum roll……………………………..)

The winner is……………………………..

(Dramatic pause………………………..)

(get on with it for goodness sake!)

(Another dramatic pause to build the tension……………………..)

None other than……………………………

(Final Dramatic pause………………………..)

(Cue party poppers, fireworks and cannons……………......................)

Ventzislav Tzvetkov (aka drHirudo)

Well done and congratulations!

And many thanks to A-EON Technology & Trevor Dickinson for their generous donation.

A complete answers sheet will be produced in PDF format in the next few days together with an updated Anniversary Puzzle picture which contains more images of the original Amiga development team (who were omitted to as part of the puzzle process).
Part 6 winner & Runner-up
Part 5 winner:
Part 4 winner:
Part 3 winner:
Part 2 winner:
Part 1 winner:

Good Lord!
Congratulations!

However the cost of an X1000 could probably go a large way to buying a house in Bulgaria.

@drHirudo

Well done, I took one look and slid quietly into the background, must be my old age or just having a bad memory.

Let us know how you get on with your shiny new X1000.
