| Really nice.
Any chance for a 68k version? Last edited by Phantom on 02-Oct-2010 at 10:36 PM.

Probably not. Maybe if there was a 68k port of libvpx. _________________ "Miracles we do at once, the impossible takes a little longer" - AJS on Hyperion Avatar is Tabitha by Eric W Schwartz

Hmm. I will give it a go at compiling libVPX for 68k. I doubt it'll be easy.
Edit: Done - and it wasn't easy, but not quite as difficult as I initially thought. Last edited by MickJT on 03-Oct-2010 at 03:44 PM.

| Ah, the wonder of Datatypes! Sure, they have their limitations, but now every program that uses them can read WebP images, an image format that didn't even exist when Datatypes were invented! _________________ After a decade away from the scene, I am back!

| So this is the first lossy (i.e. high compression) format with alpha support?! Cool _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

No, that'll be JNG
Whilst the decoding library creates RGBA bitmaps, I don't think the format actually supports alpha - in fact, there is a bug in the decoding library which makes the image wholly transparent if the alpha channel is respected! This delayed my release of the datatype, or it would have been released the day before... Last edited by Chris_Y on 03-Oct-2010 at 03:21 PM.

Ok, I see. But it would be silly to create a new format without alpha support. Being buggy or not implemented i a certain build is another thing. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

| "This new DataType will allow any OS4 system with DataTypes supporting software, to view WebP images."
Only Amiga makes it possible! ?
