Makes more sense to design & manufacture Sam440s than PPC accelerators, even if it would be new PPC accelerators would be cool. _________________ Author of the PortablE programming language. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue...

| The list of changes above mentions this :-
"Improved Prometheus/Firestorm support"
I know what a Prometheus is, but what is "Firestorm"?
Anybody know?

So you're saying that you are a psychic then?
In any case stop speaking for other people. Let those people speak for themselves instead of putting words into their mouths.

It's been said repeatedly that OS4.1 development for classic amigas is done in parallell to OS4.1 development for other systems. Would you rather they delayed release of the classic amiga version just for the sake of releasing all versions at the same time? |

| Yes, OK, you have OS 4.1 for SAM.
Its greatest advance of Amiga Classic so far!
GFX card and 128mb RAM, stick is put to a higher level but Radeon greatly recommended ... and 256mb
Still, interesting low end, and proof that AmigaOS is lightweight and can run on 160-200Mhz PPC CPU from 1996 and 128mb RAM, well enough for some Android like strong PPC phone (with decent touchscreen support).
Also, this means that all 603/604 hardware could also potentialy be hardware target, if equiped with 128mb RAM and Radeon.
G3,G4, EP440 and EP460 versions are already here
Also, was there any Linux beside APUS PPC made avail for ClassicPPC?
Yes, it would be nice to see some G3 + 256mb + Radeon 9250 integrated Zorro II/III expansion for A2000,A3000,A1200,A4000 and CD32 ... and Natami if having Zorro comaptibile slot or Zorro 2 PCI convertor for PC users
After all, modern concept is sell OS to all that can use it, and I would mind PPC Macs and OS enabled Playstation 3 too ... _________________ OS 3.x AROS and MOS supporter, fi di good, nothing fi di unprofessionalism.
