@djrikki

This really is a very useful utility.
I was impressed by the speed and scope of the search engine for OS4depot.

I'm still having a couple of issues though.
The program fails to load if the screen resolution is not set high enough.
I can change the screen res, so not a big issue.

Also, WordNet will not run from Jack.
The hard drive is accessed constantly until Jack output and Elf library both report an out of memory error.

From Jack output.
APPDIR:WordNet: Not enough memory available.

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback.

1. Screen resolution: Which module failed? What was you try to open?

AppStore Window requires: 1024 x 768 (check in place)
Jack Tunes WIndow requires: 1024 x 880 (check in place)
Jack Main Window requires: 640x480 ( NO check in place) *
Get The Most Out Of Your Amiga Window requires: 800 x 600 (no check in place) *
Welcome Window requires: 800x600 ( NO check in place) *
Image Slideshow: Opens full screen in whatever dimensions the screen is
Image Editor: If image is larger than screen dimensions it is resized to fit.

* I can add these checks and safely close the program/deny access to window if a high enough resolution is not found, but who still uses a screen height less than 600 in 2011???

2. WordNet

I believe you reported it before. I couldn't find anything wrong in the code that could possibly cause this behaviour, but I will look again.

It's the App Store that is the problem.
Doesn't work for me unless I use 1280x960.
Works great in that res though.

Yes, but it does pop up a requester warning you right?

Not always, no.
Depends on the res tried.
More often I get an error message than the popup warning.

@all

I should also make mention of the fact that downloading with Jack, does come with a nice progress indicator.

I know this is an issue for some with the OS4 version of OWB.
