Cool!

I really like "improved DOS stability (and speed)" and "updated intuition", and of course USB 2

Now let's put that USB to the test and see if those hardcore crash bugs are gone too

Goodmorning fellow Amigans!

I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that Update 3 was made available overnight. At first I was annoyed that this was done in the middle of the night without me having any clue about this. After having had breakfast I'm glad i didn't larn sooner of it, as now I'm 'fresh 'n' fruity' to get the goat ago!

Yeehaa!

OldFart

P.s.: I'll keep some sort of diary of all the steps I had to make in order to get it installed the way I want it in my multiboot setup.

Thanks to the team, waiting for good things is never bad!

Finally, things are improved and a lot of hard work was put to it!

Expected by all, but quietly released unexpectedly

Excellent work Hyperion, works like a charm. No serious problems here as I don't tinker with default settings too much.

The only niggle was at the end of the Installer, I clicked Next to restart computer, a bundle of ??? drive icons appeared down the left-hand side briefly, then the screen went black as if it was rebooting and the Workbench screen reappeared again and froze mouse etc... I simply pressed the reset button on front of the SAM 460 and all was well when it bootedup.

Finally! USB2

Look forward to installing, now where is that Hyperion password? It's been a while.

Hopefully kas1e's OWB port will follow soon.

Got the update up and running here without too much trouble. Haven't had much time yet to put it through its paces. On my Sam440ep-flex system some of my screen modes in various programs (MUI and otherwise) changed from the way I had them, so I had to spend a little time putting such things to rights. MUI programs that had custom screens defined suddenly were opening in a different screen mode, and it was the same for some non-MUI screens I had set up with mode promotion. But I think I got that all sorted out now.

After dinner tonight I'm going to systematically run every application and most utilities to see if anything is amiss and see what works better or differently. I'm anxious to test the USB capabilities with both memory sticks and a USB hard drive.

Also, I'm very much looking forward to the new MUI-based OWB,

Oh, editing to say thanks to all involved for getting this release together and out the door!

Either way good news.

@Templario

The PrefsObjectEditor isn't new it was present Update 2.

Its purpose is to create or otherwise edit XML preferences files, for example try opening the AmiDock.xml file where it resides.

As for the LogViewer not a clue.
